SRA was established in 2013 as a sugarcane grower- and miller-owned
company and the declared Industry Services Body for the Australian sugarcane
industry. At its formation, SRA was created as part of an amalgamation of the
former entities, the Sugar Research and Development Corporation (SRDC) and
the BSES (formerly the Bureau of Sugar Experiment Stations). Almost eight
years after its inception, SRA is a vital component of the overall sugar industry
supply chain, working in close partnership with growers, millers and service
providers to deliver meaningful impact on the ground. SRA was established in 2013 as a sugarcane grower- and miller-owned
