AbstractThe Far North Queensland Sugar Industry Task Force (FNQSITF) was formed on the 16th June 2000 when it held its first meeting. Its objectives were to plan and implement ways of improving the situation in the sugar industry that at the time was in a parlous financial state. Task Force members and the SRDC provided the funding.
